Location Permissions

What we do — and don't do — with your GPS location.

TRUE Driver Profit uses your phone's location to measure the miles of an order while you drive. Without it, you must enter miles yourself.

What permission is needed

Allow location access for the app. Your phone will ask the first time you start tracking an order. Choosing the option that allows access while you are using the app is enough for order tracking.

When location is used

  • Only while an order is active and being tracked.
  • To calculate distance, not to follow your movements between shifts.

If you decline

Tracking cannot measure miles. You can still use every other part of the app and record orders manually from Home.

Changing your mind

  1. Open your phone's Settings.
  2. Find TRUE Driver Profit in your list of apps or in browser site settings.
  3. Change the location permission.
  4. Return to the app and start a new order.
Location permission is per browser or per app install. If you switch phones or browsers, you will be asked again.
