Maintenance

Track scheduled and unexpected maintenance.

Maintenance is the cost that catches drivers off guard. Brakes, fluids, belts, and repairs all come out of the same earnings your delivery pay does.

How to log maintenance

  1. Open the Expenses tab.
  2. Tap the maintenance category.
  3. Enter the amount you paid.
  4. Add a note describing the work, so you can find it later.
  5. Save the expense.

How it affects your profit

Maintenance is kept as a record and appears in your Reports expense breakdown and in Vehicle Records under the Maintenance filter. It is not subtracted from TRUE Profit again, because your Vehicle Cost per Mile setting already spreads maintenance, repairs, tires and depreciation across every mile you drive.

Your Vehicle Cost per Mile setting in Profile is the running long-term estimate; a maintenance expense is the receipt for money you actually spent. If your real repair costs keep running higher than the estimate, raise your Vehicle Cost per Mile.

Note the mileage in the expense note. Over time you will see how many miles you get between big-ticket services.
