GPS Problems

Fix mileage that isn't tracking correctly.

If your recorded miles look too low, or tracking stops during an order, work through these steps in order.

Quick checks

  1. Confirm location permission is allowed for TRUE Driver Profit in your phone settings.
  2. Make sure your phone's location services are on at the system level.
  3. Turn off battery saver — it aggressively suspends background activity.
  4. Keep the app open on screen while driving, ideally in a mount.
  5. Confirm you have a data connection.

If miles are short

Screen lock and app switching can interrupt distance measurement. Check the mileage on the completion screen before you save, and correct it there or later from History.

If tracking will not start

  1. Close the app fully and reopen it.
  2. Sign out and back in.
  3. Start a fresh order.
Open Diagnostics from your Profile tab and include what you see when you report a GPS problem. It saves a lot of back-and-forth.
